My credit card is ready and I'm anxiously awaiting the unveiling of new laptops. I'll keep my aging, original 12-inch PB (a machine I have loved for the nearly six years I've had it, using it daily), but I can hardly wait to have a faster, more capable laptop. Too bad California is two hours behind me, timewise...
No clue as to what's being unveiled, but it sounds like both the MacBook and MacBook Pro lines are being updated. I'll go for a MacBook, I'm relatively sure, as my needs don't extend to needing a Pro.
My daughter's plan is for me to get a new one and give it to her, while I take over the MacBook she got in July for college. We'll see, is all I can say!
Anyone else ready to buy today? I normally wouldn't care so much, but I'm definitely in the market for a new machine and have simply been waiting for it to happen. Kind of like when I got my iMac in August 2007. They were announced, I went in to check out the glossy screen, and made my purchase within a few days.
