ok so...my white macbook has SOOOO MANY SCRATCHESS on its lid anddd its creaks everytime i open and close it...so if i took it ot the apple store...would they replace the casing since i have apple care protection?

I doubt they'd replace the top case, it scratches very easily, I don't think it's scratch/line free out of the box.

As for the creaking, they'd probably replace the hinge for you.
