Hi folks,

Bit of a random question but here goes... I'm heading to Chicago (from London) in a couple of weeks and can save quite of a lot of cash buying the new MB at duty free. So, once I buy the mac - do you just carry it on the flight as normal, with your carry on luggage? Or do you have to collect it after your trip or something?

Hope this is a suitable question for this forum.

Thanks,

Nick

If you buy it at the airport, you then pick it up and it will be counted as one of your carry on luggage - provided you don't have a bag to put it in

I think Dixon's allow you to pick it up when you get back. They could even deliver it (still duty free) to your UK address. Another option is to buy it from Chicago, US prices are lower. The keyboard is a little different but all you really have to know £ is alt-3, € is alt,shift-2.
