My new 2.53 Ghz 15-inch MacBook Pro just arrived and the ,/< and ./> keys are reversed on the keyboard but perform as on any other keyboard.

Should I send it back or might this be a collector's item down the road?

Do they actually work as their own keys when you type them, or are the functions switched too? So the ,/< key works as the ./> key and visa versa?

He just said that the keycaps are switched, but the keys work like they would on any other machine.

Get it fixed. This is not something that turns machines into collectors' items.

If you're feeling brave, you can try taking the key caps off and swapping them:

If you'd rather play it safe, you can bring it in to Apple and they'll certainly fix that for you.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!
