Hello-

I seem to be having an issue that I can't quite understand. Before I start, I have a MacBook Core Duo @ 2GHz with a airport-N card that I upgraded myself from a Mac Pro.

When my computer starts up, it seems to connect fine to my AEBS and everything works properly. I have been ripping movies using Handbrake lately and notice that halfway through the rip, I lose my internet connection. All of the wireless devices in the same room can still connect to the AEBS (Wii, XBOX, iPhone, AppleTV). After this, I find that the notebook is unable to locate any networks, although there are a few in this area. Turning the airport on and off does nothing. Manually trying to connect to the network with the SSID and password times out. It is as if the card is completely broken. If I restart the computer it works fine. I am not certain that handbrake has anything to do with the problem, or if it might be the length of time the computer is on. Either way, does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might fix this problem?

Thanks.
