Hey gang;

So dad sent me a $50 Best Buy gift card for Halloween, and I was thinking about using it to get a bigger internal hard drive for my 1st Gen Intel MacBook. BB's website has this one listed:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1200702542584

Which is a WD Scorpio 320GB SATA 2.5" drive. Does this sound like it'd be the right thing?

A while back, WD had a pretty bad reputation. But this drive seems to get pretty consistently good reviews. What are your opinions of it?

My plan for it would be to set up a 250GB Leopard partition and a 70GB WinXP partition, and use BootCamp to switch at will. Does this sound doable? Would I be able to install Leopard on an OSX partition, then restore all my stuff from a Time Machine backup?

Thanks for answering the dumb questions: I just really want to make sure I'm doing this right before I dip into my already-tight budget.

Use your coupon for something else at Best Buy. The same drive is much cheaper at zipzoomfly.com, plus there's no tax and free snail freight:

Newegg is 5% cheaper than zipzoomfly.
Spend the WorstBuy GC on something else.
