Hello. I ordered both.
The MacBook 2.4 and the 2.8 MBP as soon as they came out. The MB is sitting in front of me for almost 1.5 weeks and is great. But the MacBook Pro arrived today with a case bent.

Seems like the display hinge is located slightly right. The Front right foot is always in the air, when on a flat table. You can almost tilt the whole unit backwards... i have to put multiple sheets of paper under the back left foot in order to have a flat laptop which will not tilt when i rest my hands on it.

Did that happen to someone else????

I immediately called AppleCare and they send me a new unit. But I find it troublesome especially when i thought that the new chassis is especially sturdy and precision made.

Nevertheless: I was angered, but polite and the incredibly helpful lady from the apple service arranged immediately via phone for exchange.

If not the quality than at least the service further improved.

Well. At least I would put it on a list of new mbp/AL defects...
