I am thinking of getting a 2.4 Macbook. I have Photoshop CS3 and will probably get CS4 from work soon. I was curious how well they compare to the previous macbooks? I have a 2.2 Black MacBook with 4gigs ram.

If I get it I will be maxing out the ram. What I am really curious about is if the performance is much better due to the NVidia card.

If not I may just stick with what I have for now and wait til a Rev 2 comes out. Getting the Pro is not an option

Given the fact that CS3 is more CPU bound for processing the images then GPU bound the MacBook will be more then adequate to photoshop - provided you're hooked up to an external monitor or you're content with the 13" screen on MB. I've found photoshop a little cramped on a 13" MacBook.

CS4 as you know takes advantage of the GPU and that will have an overall impact on performance between the MacBook and MacBook Pro and the Pro will come out ahead
