Which will run cooler: 2.0 or 2.4 MB?

Comparing the new 2.0 and 2.4 MBs, in doing the same tasks, which computer would run cooler?
Or would there even be a difference?
Would the 2.4 be cooler because it is faster and more "efficient," or would it be hotter because it is a more powerful processor overall?

I've got a 2.4 MB which I'm typing on right now. It's on my lap and I'm wearing shorts (so it's directly on my skin) and it's a bit cooler than my skin except for a small part on the left side which is just a tad warmer. This thing is VERY cool to the touch... seriously. So either way I wouldn't worry about it. I'm thinking it won't be an issue.

Well I've already got a new MB. I'm asking for some "expert" opinions as the heat for the sake of knowledge/information.
Thanks.

Both CPUs have the same TDP if that's what your curious about.

That being the case, which runs cooler?

Neither, if both have the same TDP they produce the same amount amount of heat

Sorry. I always understood the TDP to impact the heat dissipation, but I did not realize it was the all-controlling factor in the amount of heat dissipated. Was I mistaken? I am interested in learning more about this.

It is the heat dissipation and both have identical requirements. Its not all-controlling, its just the specifications on the intel site are identical (I assume the 2GHz is the T8100 and the 2.4 is the T8300).

The T8100 is a Crestline part and it's 2.1 GHz actually.
The 2.0 GHz Penryn used in the MB is a P7350. The 2.4 GHz Penryn is a P8600. They both run on a 1066 MHz FSB and have 3 MB L2 cache and a 25W TDP.
