Beenin the cupboard for around six months. I know the power adapter is carked but I have a spare, however the machine is currently in full doorstop mode. Charge light comes on when spare adapter plugged in but no chimes etc. Have reset pmu via reset button but nothing. I have tried charging it for a while with battery in and with battery out.

I suspec tthe battery itself is dead since it's the original, but I gues the PRAM battery is gone too.

Any ideas? Would be nice to see the old girl running again.

Just a suggestion... let it sit plugged in for at least 1/2 a day. I seem to recall my old Ti not turning on under similar circumstances unless I let it sit plugged in for a while.

Not sure why it worked for me, but it did. Worth a shot?
