Hi,

I have a MBP earlier 2008 with an US/international keyboard. F-keys are i.e. F10: Mute, F11 decrease Volume and F12 increase Volume.

Now I bought a US keyboard (finally!) but the F-Keys are however slightly different and the system did not realise that there are some changes. Although everything works as planed, the F-Keys are not mapped correctly. So the volume control should be on F3-F5 (F3: Mute, F4 decrease Volume and F5 increase Volume). Is there a way I can tell the system to "rethink" the keyboard mapping ? Another thing is that I completely lost control over the keyboard illumination (used to be F5&F6), on the new US keyboard it is printed to be on F8-F10, but it aint working

Anybody an idea how to fix this ?

Much appreciated

/sam
