I was wondering if there are any apps that people consider must haves for MacBook and MacBook Pro users.

So far I've got :

Quicksilver
SmartSleep

Any others that you guys and gals would recommend?

Sorry, my bad. smcFanControl -- I used to have it on my MacBook.

Although, Quicksilver is not laptop specific, or is it?

No its not laptop specific. I put it there as a sort of 'reduce trackpad usage' app. Although I basically use it on my iMac for anything that I possibly can. Some have said that Leap is good (read better) on laptops instead of using the Finder for example.
