Hello everyone! My first threat on this website, happy to be here and thanks in advance for the help.
Ok, I have a MacBook Pro right now, the once from like 2007, with the 8600gm graphics card. I am going to be getting either the new MacBook or the MacBook Pro soon, and i would much rather have the MacBook because of its smaller size and portability, but the deal breaker is the gaming. If I'm going to get the Book then it is going to be the base line model, and i wanted to know if anyone knew how well it stood up to my favorite game, Battlefield 2, via Boot Camp of course. Also Call of Duty 4 as well, these are the only 2 games I play. I would think that BF2 takes less graphics power to run than COD4, but I am not sure. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Also, if it the MacBook isn't good enough to hold up against BF2 sniping, with decent framerate, then should i get the baseline MBP? How well does this machine play these games and is it worth the extra cash. But mainly, if you can, try and answer the BF2 question because I'm really stuck right now between the two. Thank you again!
