I reside in Kuwait and have ordered a new white macbook standard and wish to upgrade memory to 4 GB and HD to 320 or 300 GB - is there a whitebook manual or instructions available also any special tools needed? Thanks

Yes, there is. Apple's support pages have all these manuals.

Here's the user guide with instructions for RAM upgrades (pages 31-40). And here's the instructions for replacing the disk.
