I have no idea what happened but I brought my Laptop Home pulled it out of the Bag and I get the Please Reboot your Laptop Kernel Panic Error..
I have Tried booting up from DVD (Leopard) and a USB Drive also with (Leopard on it) I have Reseated my RAM Mods.. I have Reset PRAM and PMU..

Still get the Error.. Again I even get that error when trying to boot from the other Media.. ANY IDEAS???

HELP...

i will try again.. But I have 2 - 2GB sticks.. I have pulled out 1 and then tried the other.. same results...

What I have not tried was the different slots.. and or entirely different ram..

try using the original ram sticks. Also, did you recently installed new software? Back in the Jaguar days the kernel appeared because I installed Norton AV.. I uninstalled it and that was it.

i get this error screen even if I don't have a HD installed in it.. Just trying to boot from DVD... Which it starts to do.. But then DIES..

I swapped and moved the RAM.. Same Results...

what's crazy is it acts like it is going to work.. It lets me boot from DVD and the Logo with the Spinning Gear goes and then poof i get the black death screen.

Can you target disk mode and access from another computer? A peek at the panic log might help.

Do you have any devices attached to the MBP?

/Library/Logs/panic.log

Although, with your panic happening so fast, there might not be one.. I would *expect* there to be one from the first panic, though.
