I've got a new model 15" MBP. I have the dvi dongle, but I don't see one for any tv connectivity... is there a way to do this? Composite or component?

Nope.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

The only option I think you have is a coax input.

The OP is looking for an output to a TV. You linked to a TV input.

Since the UB MB(P)s don't support S-video or composite you need either a VGA or DVI input on your TV/projector.
