Hi so I just spilt about an eighth or so cup of gatorade on the keyboard of my mac book pro. I've had it for about 3 years and I immediately turned it upside-down, took off the cover, wiped the whole thing down with a soft cloth and took out the battery. I then tried to turn it on (not knowing about the short-circuit rule yet) twice. The two times I tried it would power on to the light blue screen and make a loud beeping noise. Just as it should have turned on the the image of a desktop, it shut down.

At the moment it is upside-down with space for it to air out. Does anyone have any tips??? Thanks so much for any help...

We have detailed instructions in our sticky in the MacBook/MacBook Pro forum.
