When using my MacBook, I really miss the forward delete key that I use on my iMac keyboard. Is there a way to program one of the function keys to produce the same effect?

If you can handle a key combo, then pressing delete while holding down the fn key (lower left corner) will do it.

That was something I had a big problem with when I first got my MBP a few years ago. I've gotten so used to using the fn key to forward delete that I go for it (even though it ain't there) on my iMac's keyboard!

I have a Japanese keyboard and your tip doesn't seem to work. I'll contact Apple Support and see if a different combo will. Thanks very much.
