I want to upgrade the harddrive of my 1,5 year old white MacBook CD 2.2 Ghz with a faster harddrive.
Would a OCZ Vertex 128 GB work well in this laptop, or is the slower serial ata 150 a bottleneck and should I take a 7200 PRM momentus 500 GB seagate instead?

The SATA interface is never the bottleneck.

If you want an SSD, take the SSD; if you want a spinny disk, take the spinny disk.
