I am indifferent between 17 and 15 inches. Some of the additional features of the 17 make up for the larger dimensions and more weight. So with the current line-up I'll opt for a 17 MBP.

However what is the WWDC going to bring? Is it worth waiting with the purchase, as I might fall into the upgrade-for-free-period re Snow Leopard?

Or will they even update the MBP soon? Blu-Ray, HD-screen for the 15 inch, built-in high-capacity battery? Implement the new 3.06 GHz mobile CPU with 35 Watt thermal design?

Regards, Felix

I doubt we'll see any MBP updates at WWDC.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see no significant MBP updates until fall.

Integrated battery on the 15" sounds possible. Forget about BR. I wouldn't expect a HD screen for the 15".

Agree, WWDC is too soon for updates.

No BR (iTMS pays better) or HD panels (why wait 6 years to offer them?). I think they'll wait another revision before redesigning the case for a built in battery.

Clockrates will drop to ~1.6-2Ghz with Clarksfield (quad core, on-die memory controller, etc).
