Hey everyone,

I have a 7 years old PowerBook G4 667 and I've got a problem with the battery: It only lasts for a few minutes, the leds however show it's fully loaded.

Is there a problem with the connection to the notebook or do you think the battery just broke and "fakes" now?

Any ideas? Help appreciated.

Looks like its useful life has come to an end. I guess its time to get a new battery..maybe a new MBP.

It sounds like its capacity is shot. Yes, it looks like a full charge, but a full charge is only a few minutes. I've seen this behavior with ibook batteries.

So a new battery would solve it, right?

Yes, a replacement battery should solve it.
