I know is old news, but my 1.5 yr old macbook has finally started cracking on the palmrest where the plastic bumpers on the lid close on the palmrest. I have 3 yr apple care. Will they be able to fix this at the genius bar? I don't want to send my mac away.

They will fix it. They replace the whole top case. I would assume they have the part in stock.

That happened to my old MacBook. AppleCare fix it in one day.
