Macbook sleep issues!! Please help!

My macbook is only about a year old and recently has had issues going into sleep mode. Sometimes it will sleep automatically when the lid is closed and/or i select sleep from the menu. Most times however, it appears as if its going to sleep but the light never starts blinking. The disk sounds like its still spinning and eventually gets really loud and I end up having to shut down via the power button. I noticed in the console logs something about the cisco vpn drivers right around the times its been happening but i dont have cisco vpn installed on my computer anymore. I will paste the logs below. if anyone can help I would really appreciate it!!

I agree you need to try to rest the SMC.
