Yesterday, my lovely wife dumped a glass of water all over her G4 PowerBook.
We spent a lot of time towel drying, hair dryer blowing, dissassembling and drying the whole thing out as best we could. Today, we get a good charge going into the battery, but no response at all from the power button. Anyone know what are chances are on this one? Any suggestions on how to tell what is totalled and able to be replaced? We are sick over this as the PB was a gift to us.

I'd say the chances are not good. Fortunately, if it's a PowerBook, it's probably given you many years of service by now anyway, and this is probably a great time to replace it.
