Im going to take advantage of that back to school promotion they have going on but I have a couploe questions Im hoping someone can help me with.

1. Is the harddrive on the $1199 model Macbook Pro consider user replaceable?

2. As far as the free iPod Touch, whats needed for the rebate, will they require a copy of a school ID in order to qualify for it? Whats exactly involved to get the special?

1) No, but you can still do it fairly easily.
2) If you order online you will for the rebate, if you do it in store you will need your ID there and possibly when you send it in too.

I don't know about the 13" MacBook Pro, but replacing the hard drive on the 15" model (late 2008 anyway) is super easy. I couldn't believe it when I read it in the user guide.
