Hi everybody,

My wife has a problem on her first gen white MacBook. When she opens Photo Booth it has this crazy red/pink tint to it on the screen. I *think* I fixed it one time for her but I didn't write it down so can't remember what I did.

What I've done so far is to throw away the photo booth .plist file, repaired permissions, rebooted, and reset the pram. I have some images of myself taken with the offending item so you can see this monstrosity.

Thank you everyone for reading about my problem!

does it happen in other programs (iChat preferences has a video place to check)?

If so, try an SMC reset. Take out all forms of power and hold down the power button for ten seconds (i tihnk it's shorter but just to be safe) then boot back up.

Thank you for the reply. Yes it does it on iChat too. Unfortunately, doing the SMC reset didn't help the ugly red tint.
