Hi all,

A week ago or so I came back from a two week vacation. I had left the computer on sleep for the entire time I was away but the battery had run out during that. Upon plugging the computer in it started up fine but a short while later I noticed that the battery was not charging.

I have tried the regular tips as in zapping the PRAM, resetting the PMU and checking the battery in another computer. Additionally I tried another battery in my computer and that charged fine. My battery is roughly three months old and the serial does not fit under Apple's replacement program.

Odd thing is, system information shows that the battery has quite some capacity left in it (roughly 80% if I remember the original capacity):
Battery Information:

Charge Information:
Charge remaining (mAh): 0
Charging: No
Full charge capacity (mAh): 2841
Health Information:
Cycle count: 0
Condition: Good
Battery Installed: Yes
Amperage (mA): 0
Voltage (mV): 8734
Now, before I go and buy another battery (I am currently in Saudi Arabia and it is not the easiest thing for me to go out and find one), does anyone have any idea if I can get this one back running? Furthermore, I am buying a new laptop next time I am in a European country and as such, I'd prefer to avoid the 100 dollar purchase. That might be a few months away though.

Thx, Tobbi
