How is everyone performing calibration on the new MBP? I've got a 2.53 13", and I don't know how I'm going to go about it. Basically, I don't have 7 hours to spend draining the battery in one shot.
Do these still require calibration? If so, how is everyone doing it?

Same as all previous models: load it up completely, and then just use it normally, but don't connect it to power again until it goes into low-battery sleep.

So it doesn't have to be in one shot? I always read it in a way that you couldn't close the lid, let it sleep, etc etc. Glad I was apparently wrong.

Nope. Just don't charge it until the battery hits bottom.

Apple's official procedure is more tedious.
The battery needs to rest in fully charged state (i.e. leave power connected) for at least two hours. Then, once the battery has run down and your MBP has gone to sleep you are supposed to let it sit that way for no less than five hours. This wasn't the case for older PBs and iBs. But the new batteries in the late 15" PB, the MBs and MBPs have always required these extra steps.
• Plug in the power adapter and fully charge your PowerBook's battery until the light ring or LED on the power adapter plug changes to green and the onscreen meter in the menu bar indicates that the battery is fully charged.
• Allow the battery to rest in the fully charged state for at least two hours. You may use your computer during this time as long as the adapter is plugged in.
• Disconnect the power adapter while the computer still on and start running the computer off battery power. You may use your computer during this time. When your battery gets low, the low battery warning dialog appears on the screen.
• At this point, save your work. Continue to use your computer; when the battery gets very low, the computer will automatically go to sleep
• Turn off the computer or allow it to sleep for five hours or more.
• Connect the power adapter and leave it connected until the battery is fully charged again.
