i often burn a DVD and get a verification error. i never had this problem before. i am on my third optical drive (matsushita uj-868).

i even reformatted and tried leopard and snow leopard. no luck the error is inconsistent across many types of media.

any ideas on how i can get this resolved?

what brand media are you using? I recommend TDK DVD-R, but you should try different media to locate the most reliable brand that works for you.

tired two different TDK disc types and toasted many of them. verbatim, compusa, sony, memorex, and even tried the discs apple used at the apple store.
