Hi,

I am hoping someone here might be able to offer me some insight on the potential problem I might be having with my Macbook Pro 15 2.4Ghz (34 Express).

The only thing I have modified is the HD (Western Digital Scorpio Black 320GB 7200)

The problems I am having are that when I try to do a fresh install of the OS (10.5) the computer says that it cannot complete the request. I have even tried swapping in the old HD and it still won't do a fresh install. So I am thinking it might be another issue.

There are some programs that I am running that will work fine and then just a few minutes later it will lock everything up, especially when I use the program after its been asleep.

Another issue is if my laptop runs out of juice, and I plug it in, it can take ages to come back on. And just the other day, the grey apple loading screen wasn't centered, it was offset.

So any ideas before I bring it into apple.

Joe
