I was doing an upgrade of the hard drive in a MBP and unfortunately when I removed the keyboard the ribbon cable attaching it to the MBP's Logic Board came off and I can't figure out how to reattach it. I know it there has to be a way to reattach it but I don't want to attach it wrong and have something short out. How would I go about reattaching it?

The connector is pretty easy to put on right and pretty hard to put on wrong. If you look hard at it you'll see why. Gently align the connector on the ribbon cable and then gently press the connector back into the part on the logic board. It's easy.

Indeed. With one end attached to the drive the ribbon will only go on one way.

I think he is talking about the connector for the top case, not the hard drive... But it is a bit ambiguous.
