Hello all,

a friend's MB (black model) is showing a strange behaviour: if he connects an external LCD, after some minutes (around 5), the machine goes down, with frozen screen, and the only possibility is a forced manual shutdown via button.
The restart must be made with the LCD unplugged, or it will display a blue screen.
I'm not overly detailed, I know (don't have the machine at hand), but the mac has never had a problem or a crash, it's running Snow Leopard, and the only trouble is this: plug the external LCD, few minutes and then the machine goes dead.

I've googled a bit, but have no idea what the causes/remedies...

Hope somebody can cast a little light.
Lory
