I bought a 320GB HDD, battery and RAM to upgrade my 14" ibook. I followed the instructions.....

Short story, wouldn't boot - no power coming in at all. I suspected it may have been a loose connection - the notoriously 'snappy' one - and had it re-soldered but no joy. I have an upgraded, useless laptop

Can it be fixed? Is it even worth doing? If not, what should I do with it? Sell all the bits on ebay?

Any ideas would be welcome.

Having it repaired professionally could cost you big time.

Depending how tight the money is, I'd sell the parts and buy a new (or refurbed) MB(P).
