Is it possible to install OS X Leopard, from a Full Retail Version disc, on an iBook G4, and a PowerBook G4, now running on 10.4?
I presume, if it is feasible, all the previous data will be saved, along with all the passwords...
Thanks.

OSX 10.5 (Leopard) Yes
OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard) No

You can choose to upgrade your 10.4 system, or do an archive & install, which removes the previous OS (10.4), but retains all your data, passwords and so on.

We would need more specs from your iBook and Powerbook.

The minumum requirements for 10.5 leopard are:

At least 9 GB of disk space available.

To add my previous post...note that only the earliest ibooks and some very early powerbook g4s wouldn't meet this requirement.
