Had my late-07 Macbook Pro 17" taken in for the logic board fix Apple's been covering. Now, whenever I try to hook it up with a DVI-VGA cable to an external display, the colors are garbage — no reds, very dark, basically unwatchable. I'm wondering if anyone else with a logic board fix has had the same issue, or if anyone has any thoughts on solutions?

You sure your cable is good? Have you tried a different external display with that cable? Can you try using a different cable with a different display, or a different cable with that same display?
