Not me, I get roughly 6 plus hours per charge on my Macbook Pro 13 inch. But, I do run a lot of things up top so I would say for me, it's better than even I expected. The problem of course all goes back to what the particular user is doing at the time of his or her laptop test. Actually I think the batter is better than I have seen it on 4 previous Mac laptops.

Is that a latest-revision MacBook Pro 13", or one from before this spring?

Because those had an advertised battery life of 7 hours, which is perfectly in line with what you're getting when you're whipping it.

Last week my best friend got a hair over 9 hours on his brand new MB while outputting to an HDTV. I assume then that 10 is within reach.

Nah mines, a new Spring model. But, as said I run a lot programs shall we say up top and resident so I am hardly surprised at the less than 10hour battery; still very pleased at what I get though. Great computer no matter what.

MB Pro 15" i7, I het 8 hours, but if I start with the heavy programs i.e. PS, iMovie, 3 IM windows, downloading torrents, it will drop a lot to like 5-6 hours. I think Apple finally got a good batteries put in these MB Pros.
