Hi all

I've just came back from an apple store in London where I've been to fix a number of problems with my MacBook pro unibody, late 2008.. One of them was that the battery has died with 305 cycles registered on it.

I'd like to ask if anyone knows what is the expected battery life for these units, as the battery died completelly out of the blue and it showed as 75% healthy in the diagnostics about a week ago.

The older Intel notebooks were guaranteed for one year or 300 cycles. Unibody machines with the integrated batteries are supposed to last 1000 cycles. Not sure if the warranty specifies that or not. Some MacBook Airs may be different.
