I'm starting to look for a smaller laptop and I'm really hoping that the next 13in mbp will have a nice 1400x900 resolution on it like the air.

An ideas when? I'm assuming it will be Spring but I don't want to wait that long.

I think February would be a good solid date.

I think the resolution upgrade is a pretty safe bet too.

Sandy Bridge should be out in Q1, so I'd guess Q2. Apple has been lagging a bit lately on the Macbooks.

Agree with mduell, mostly. It depends slightly on the exact launch lineup for Sandy Bridge, but somewhere from March to mid-May seems likely. Nothing will happen before Christmas, that's certain.

I do think the next revision could be worth waiting for, though. It is likely to get Sandy Bridge and a new display (same as MBA), and it might just get an SSD option as well.
The low-end Mac Pro is the most overpriced Mac since the IIvx
