Just wondering if the USB Stick is 10.6.5 yet.

Generally restore media is always the OS that the computer was originally shipping with unless there is a new 10.x.

Thats not exactly right. With DVDs, they did still increment them occasionally, but certainly not every time. I guess they ran down stock and only changed when it was time to print more discs. With USB they are free to go through existing stock and upgrade the sticks, so they might well update every increment.
