Hi, I recently lost my charger on the way to work. I was wondering if I could use my Macbook air charger for my Macbook for a short amount of time until I bought new 60W charger for my Macbook.

I was just concerned that I would overheat or damage my charger or mac if it did not receive enough power. Of course because of it's low voltage I would not use it whilst it's being charged for it to charge more efficiently and maybe faster.

Thank you in advanced

It will work fine. It simply won't charge while the machine is running and it may or may not charge while it's sleeping.
