I recently acquired a single-owner 867MHz 12" PB G4. The previous owner had stripped out some of the case screws when upgrading the hard drive, and I ended up having to drill them out and replace the top case/palm rest assembly due to the ruined threaded screw holes.

The top case I got on eBay is brand new, and I'm noticing that in regular use, big smudgy spots are being left on the palm rest area. The only way I can remove them is with something like Windex. In the meantime, they look crappy.

Is there something I can put on them to protect them from skin oils and whatnot? I know that Marware makes some leather-like covers, but I want something that doesn't add thickness or detract from the original appearance/design of the machine.
For all the trash I talk, I sure own a lot of Macs...
