Hey all, I've got a thunderbolt 13 inch, with a DVI monitor connected by the Apple adapter. The computer is now not connecting to the monitor. Has anyone else had the Mini display port to DVI adapter go? I'm really hoping this isn't my Thunderbolt port... I'm pretty sure they'll need to give me a whole new mono then eh?

Does System Profiler see the Thunderbolt bus? A few months ago I had a monitor adapter cable fail on me, so that can happen; I'd suspect the cable first and the motherboard second.

Have you run the graphics and EFI updates?

OK, so weird, not totally sure what fixed it. I installed some graphics switching app designed for the 17 inch and 15 inch Pros, and made sure my settings were set to integrated. Then restarted with the monitor plugged in. It seemed to take a long time to restart but the monitor did eventually come on, but both stayed grey for super long. Then I restarted my MacBook again and it came on no problem. I repaired permissions and then went to read for a while. When I came back, plugged in the monitor it worked fine.

Soo... problem seems fixed. No clue what I did.

Thooough, I am running Lion so that also could have been the cause.
