Hello. I have a MacBook, MN 1181 13" (mid 2007). I had the logic board replaced on it, but it still will not turn on at all. The power light indicator is orange, unless I try to turn on the machine, then it turns green until I let go of the button. Problem is, this is my daughter's college computer. She spilled water on it, it died, I was told to replace the logic board, which I did via one from a company/ebay. Is there something else I can do to get this fixed? We are unemployed and living by the seat of our pants...and she really needs her macbook before college in August. Should I replace the keyboard? Some other part? I have so much invested in this macbook on my little budget. Help! Thanks.

The symptoms you describe are typical of a water spill and a faulty logic board. If replacing it with one that should be good has no effect then you should do some checking before returning it for another replacement. First check the magsafe board for corrosion.

Try a minimal system. Get the logic board and the magsafe board and if possible connect to an external display. If not then connect to the internal display but leave the drives disconnected. You should be able to power it on by shorting two solder pads on the logic board with a screwdriver or metal object. They will be marked "PWR" or "PWR BTN". Like this image:

Though usually they are more obviously labelled. I don't have my service manuals handy so I can't check your exact model. Just look for that text and the nearest set will probably do.
If it won't boot with just magsafe, logic and display, then most likely the new board is faulty too. Does it currently charge a battery?
