Recently replaced the superdrive and at first after it was replaced the wifi, camera and bluetooth stopped working. Well I found a bad connection on my plug to the logic board. Reseated the cable and then my wifi was up and working but the isight camera and bluetooth are still not coming on. I've tried resetting the pram and the smc. So does anyone else out here have any ideas?

The iSight camera connection is built into the LVDS display cable on unibody MacBook Pros. If you have a pre-unibody model then it should still be attached to the display cable but with its own connector nearby.

Looking at service manuals, the bluetooth could be in several places depending on model. Need to know exactly which you have to be of much more help but the original late 2008 unibody seems to have the camera and bluetooth sharing a cable so I would say reseat your display cable if thats the model you have. Might also be true of the 2009 model.

Thanks Waragainstsleep I haven't solved the problem but you gave me somewhere else to look. My macbook is a mid 2009 and the bluetooth module is located inside of that black bar on the screen. Is LVDS cable the one that controls the screen or the wifi? Well I know its one big cable but is the part that plugs in the logic board for the lcd or wifi?
