Hey guys and girls.

I've spilled some Vodka on to my laptop around 24 hours ago, it went over the mouse trackpad & on to the keyboard (mainly over the space bar and the middle part of the keyboard). The laptop was switched on, powered by battery & unplugged. Within 2-4 seconds of Liquid getting hrough it went off in cilence, there was no flashing images on the screen or no noise it just went black. I tipped it upside down straight away and tried to get rid of the liquid(offcourse by that point the liquid could of gotten anywhere), I did leave it upside down the following night & next morning I put it in the a very warm and dry room, which was aboiut 14 hours ago. after being in a very warm and dry environment some parts of keyboard started to stick. (space bar is the worst) while others are not affected as bad.

Does any one have any advice? Is it the end of it? if it is will I be able to use the hard drive? Ram memory on a new laptop maybe?

any thoughts are much appreciated.

p.s. it was not good vodka so I hope it will work.

Its the cranberry juice that'll kill it, not the vodka.
