I'd like to get a DSL router--any advice for one that works best with older power macs? I would like to run a 5400/120 (upgraded to 400mhz by Sonnet and a 6116CD (hopefully souped the same way). Thanks!

The DSL router will not really interact with the computers in any way, so whichever one you want is okay. I personally have a LinkSys 4 port 10/100 base T DSL router and couldn't be happier. I have it uplinked to another 10 port hub which is running two peecees, and an older mac, on the router itself there's my B&W G3, my brother's G4 and two other macintoshes, you can never have too many computers

I agree - there's no need to worry about port compatibility, so long as you've got yourself an Ethernet port. I have Verizon PPPoE DSL, and I use a MacSense XSense MIH-120 (I'm relatively sure that's the model number) four-port router. It's a wonderful little device, and what's best is that you can go into a web browser window and configure the router to handle the PPPoE handshaking so you don't ever need to use the MacPoET or other PPPoE connecting application.
