Last year, I sent a Performa 5215 power supply to someone in California who repaired it. I don't know what was done to repair it but I know at least one diode was replaced. Now I have a Performa 5200CD with the same symptoms. This time, I can't afford to have it repaired by the same guy (shipping costs kill me). I'm wondering if anyone on this board can give me any advice on how to troubleshoot the power supply. I have a coworker who has electronics repair skills but he needs some clues on where to start. Can anyone help?
