Hi,
I'm a relative new Mac user, haveing a IMac DV SE for almost a year.
I recently adopted an old Centris 650 with a 500MB hard drive. The problem is (so far), that when it boots it is looking for the floppy drive, and I have no boot floppy.
How can I set it up to use the hard drive for boot up??

Ah, so you are seeing the flashing question mark, correct?

Well, that means thehard disk in that quardra does not have a working system folder, of it would automatically start up from that. You will have to install a version of the MacOS (it will take up to 8.1, but I suggest 7.5.5 as it is free). You may need to find someone that can put it on disks for you.
