is it possibile to put (with an adapter) SDRAM, like pc uses it, in an PPC 7600 (needs DIMM original)

No, this is not possible in any way shape or form. You'll just have to find the correct DIMMs. Check www.ramseeker.com for the best prices.

the problem is not to find the right DIMM's, it't the price (DIMM's cost about 6 time as SDRAM)

I just got some of the dimms you are talking about. ramseeker.com is where you need to look. I paid a little 130$us for a 128 mb 5v dimm at (?) memorytogo.com, I found this price through ramseeker and is a lot cheaper than the 200 to 300 $ prices I have been seeing at the big ram vendors.

if you have a mac it's great to life in us :-( in austria 128 mb cost about 390 $ while sdram is about 55 $). i think shipping from us to austria is to expensive too. but maybe i will make holyday in us in the next years and buy a hole new mac :-)

another big difference is voltage - 168 pin DIMMs for Mac are 5 volts, SD-RAM is 3.3 volts.
