I just completed my macquarium, and I popped the 68000 processor off of the mobo. Does anyone know what's in this thing? Any heavy metals that can kill my fish? Was gonna throw it in the tank...Just wondering, otherwise I'll drill a hole in it and put in on my keychain. Thanks!

Thanks... I'm gonna do the keychain deal. I was actually gonna put the RAM from the Plus on my keychain, 'cause I assumed they were 256K modules. But when I popped it open, the resistor was gone, and it turned out they were one meggers. So I put them in my Quadra 900 (now at _20_ megs! Yeah!!)...

Hehe, I have a 256K L2 cache chip on my keychain
And a processor on another one... P1? 486? Can't remember... nice and small.
I don't usually carry them around though...

I'm soon putting some Apple keys on my keychain. They are small and back, and have the Apple logo molded into them. And I have no idea what they were from. They were going to be thrown out, but I got to them first. Anyone have ideas as to what they are for?

I don't have any geeky stuff on my keys, but I have an opened-up P1-90 glued to the monitor of my PC at work. The circuit is nice to look at.
I think a 601 or 604 would look cool with that blue RTV covering the die.
BTW, the 68k chip should be OK for your fish. No heavy metals, just ceramic or plastic & copper/solder.
Hey Brad, I'd like one of those keys. Think of trade/terms.

Well, you might see this before you get my email.
I'm interested in a trade of some sort.
